Continuing their journey, the Cluster 1; Region 1 team from the Office of Youth Empowerment Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya (National Coordinator, AYUDH India ) and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman (Program Associate) received a warm welcome from the students and staff at Amrita Vidyalayam, Ettimadai, Coimbatore. ETTIMADAI is a natural scenic beauty of mountain ranges, located along the foothills of the western ghats.

Celebrating the successful culmination of an enriching program at Amrita Vidyalam, KK Nagar, the Office of Youth Empowerment team, comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya, National Coordinator of AYUDH India and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman, Program Associate from the Office of Youth Empowerment at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus , embarked on a visit to Amrita Vidyalam, Kovur, Chennai. Their objective was to introduce students to the exciting world of AYUDH Tamil Nadu and its engaging activities.

Chennai , the vibrant capital city of Tamil Nadu, formerly known as Madras, is a kaleidoscope of ancient temples, rich arts, natural wonders, and a bustling culinary scene. Embarking on their next inspiring journey, the team comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya, National Coordinator of AYUDH India and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman, Program Associate from the Office of Youth Empowerment at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus , visited Amrita Vidyalayam in KK Nagar, Chennai. To accommodate the huge number of participants the event had to be split into two days.

Seed ball Tossing by AYUDH volunteers took place in the reserved forest areas of Odisha. Planting seed balls in erosion-prone areas helps stabilize the soil. As the plants grow, their root systems help bind the soil together, reducing erosion and preventing sediment runoff into waterways. By using native plant seeds in seed balls, it's possible to restore or enhance biodiversity in degraded ecosystems. Native plants are adapted to local conditions and support local wildlife, including pollinators and herbivores.

Continuing their impactful journey, the team comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya (National Coordinator, AYUDH India ) and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman (Program Associate), from the Office of Youth Empowerment, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus , made their mark at the vibrant Amrita Vidyalayam in Kanyakumari. This stop turned into a thrilling two-day event, owing to the overwhelming participation. #Kanyakumari , a picturesque coastal town at the southern tip of India in Tamil Nadu, draws its name from the goddess Kanya Kumari.

Thanjavur , a city steeped in artistry and heritage, once served as the early capital of the illustrious Chola dynasty. It is known as the Rice Bowl City of India, owing to its agricultural production. Embarking on their exciting journey, the Cluster 1; Region 1 team from the Office of Youth Empowerment at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus , comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya (National Coordinator, AYUDH India ) and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman (Program Associate), received a heartwarming reception at Amrita Vidyalayam, Thanjavur.

Puducherry , a serene city now designated as a Union Territory and nestled in southeastern Tamil Nadu, is a tapestry of tranquility. Known as 'India's Little France', 'The French Riviera of the East', it exudes a unique charm. Concluding their program at Amrita Vidyalayam, Madurai, the Cluster 1; Region 1 team, comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya (National Coordinator, AYUDH India ) and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman (Program Associate), Office of Youth Empowerment, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus , continued their journey to Amrita Vidyalayam, Moolakulam, Puducherry.

The skyline adorned with the 14 colorful gopurams of Meenakshi Amman Temple adds a touch of magnificence to this historic locale.

AYUDH Tamil Nadu has grown many folds over the years and each year new young minds join the vivacious team. This year a team comprising Brahmacharini Vagishamrita Chaitanya, National Coordinator, AYUDH India and Ms. Neena S Purushothaman, Program Associate, Office of Youth Empowerment, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham , Amritapuri campus traveled 2,212 km along the length and breadth of Tamil Nadu to acquaint students of Amrita Vidyalayams in Tamil Nadu with AYUDH Tamil Nadu and its activities. Their first stop was at Amrita Vidyalayam,Tirunelveli.
