DAY1 AYUDH Self Management Internship Program

DAY1 AYUDH Self Management Internship Program

DAY1 AYUDH Self Management Internship Program (ASIP) at Pune commenced with all AYUDHians lighting Diya - the Lamp of Knowledge, symbolising to banish darkness, and to represent a continuous upward movement in one's life. AYUDHians from a diverse range of educational backgrounds came together to delve into the art of self-management by incorporating the profound teachings of Sanatana Dharma and spiritual practices into their daily lives. This immersive experience went beyond the conventional boundaries of personal development, nurturing not just professional skills but also the mental, emotional, and spiritual facets of each participant. Moreover, ASIP shed light on the scientific aspects of Sanatana Dharma, revealing the profound wisdom it holds and its relevance in the modern world - learning how its principles can guide them toward both success and inner peace. The Day1 featured a series of enlightening sessions tailored for the youth, commencing with an engaging icebreaker game to know more about other new participants. The session on "Need of Spirituality for Today's Youth" by Dr. Veena Raj, a doctorate in Sanskrit & Vedanta proved to be exceptionally insightful for the participants. Dr. Veena Raj is presently working as Post-Doctoral Fellow at Shankaracharya Nyas, Maharashtra. Her ability to convey profound wisdom of Upanishads in a simple and relatable manner struck a chord with the students. The session bridges the gap between ancient spiritual knowledge and the challenges faced by today's youth and teaches them to grasp the essence of teachings to navigate the complexities of their modern world. The interactive and Q&A session on the "Bhagwad Gita” by Bri Amritatmika Chaitanya occupies a unique and significant position within the program. During this session, participants delved into selected Slokas, carefully chosen for their applicability in managing the challenges of the modern world. Participants not only recited these Slokas but also delved into their meanings, enhancing their understanding of the wisdom within. What made this session even more engaging was the practical application of the Bhagavad Gita's teachings. Participants actively immersed themselves in the content by enacting these teachings through a scriptural skit. This approach brought the wisdom of the Gita to life, making it relevant and relatable to contemporary issues and situations. It was a holistic experience that allowed participants to not just chant the Slokas but also live the wisdom. The Sanatana Dharma quiz ignited the participants' enthusiasm. We were fortunate to witness their impressive knowledge and participation. The competition resulted in a tie between groups, yet, as always, there was a winning team, and Team 4 emerged as the victorious quiz champions! Sarthak Londhe, Joint Secretary from AYUDH Pune shared his experience saying that, "AYUDH has taught me a lot, in this program I learnt important Slokas of Bhagavad Gita which is very important in our day to day life considering Kalyuga. I will definitely implement this in my life with an aim of adapting it before attending the next AYUDH event." DAY1 learnings will help participants navigate their paths in today's world. They went home with greater expectation for the learning and enjoyment for the next day of ASIP
