Ayudh Mumbai Conducted Bird Feeder Activity

In the summer heat, it becomes almost impossible for birds to go in search of food and many times they die due to the lack of food and water. AYUDHians at Mumbai recognised the value of supporting birds to flourish and populate landscapes and set an example for other youth of their generation. As an expression of compassion, they made automatic self-filling bird feeders from waste plastic bottles and hung it on the trees.

Bird feeders aren't just objects created to serve birds in need of food and water. They are also a reminder to us that nature is no longer a safe haven for many species of birds that will quickly become extinct if mankind does not act immediately.

“Bird feeders are an amazing way to get in touch with nature. I loved the Practical sessions on making automatic self-filling bird feeder. We are happy to do this 'Bhuta Yajna' together today. It will help us to do similar ones at home and also to teach others. It was a great method to reuse the used plastic too. ”, remarked Ms Amrita Sinha from Semtitans Digital Private Limited, Mumbai
