AYUDH and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Empower Youth in Jammu & Kashmir with 'Internet to Innernet' Programs

AYUDH, in collaboration with the Youth Empowerment Group of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, conducted a transformative series of value-based programs titled 'Internet to Innernet' for the youth of Jammu & Kashmir. The sessions, held in various schools across the districts of Srinagar, Udhampur, and Samba, were attended by over 2000 students from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. The programs featured discussions on the challenges faced by today’s youth, interactive games, and guided meditation sessions.

For many participants, it was their first experience with meditation, but the response was overwhelmingly positive. Students expressed that they felt Amma’s love and compassion through the meditation practice and the viewing of Amma's Darshan video. The peaceful atmosphere helped students find relief from their inner struggles.

During feedback sessions, students shared personal insights. One girl commented: "I have a lot of anger inside and frustration issues. I didn't know how to get over it. Today, I learned how to handle it, and the heaviness deep inside was lifted."

Another student noted the stress experienced by the younger generation: "Today’s generation has a lot of anxiety, aggression, and stress, which prevents us from enjoying life. Today, I felt peace for the first time in a long while. I appreciate your organization's efforts."

Another participant reflected on Amma's compassion: "In today’s world, no one even holds out a hand for support, but Amma, out of Her compassion, is giving hugs to anyone who comes for Her Darshan. I have no words to express my gratitude."

The 'Internet to Innernet' programs offered these students a valuable opportunity to explore inner peace and emotional balance, demonstrating the profound impact of meditation and value-based guidance in alleviating modern challenges.
