Green Belt

Collaborating with Haryana Urban Development Authority, this project aims to transform around 40 acres of barren land into a green belt with rich plantation covering over 8 kilometer long road side stretch in Sector 88, Greater Faridabad. Over 200 devout volunteers took part. On this occasion, Br Nijamrita Chaitanya from Mata Amritanandamayi Math said that Amma considers voluntary participation and efforts towards making India clean, as extremely important. Small efforts like this have the ability to change the future of the nation. He said that it is our responsibility to keep our surroundings clean. If we remain aware of this fact and keep our environment clean, then we may really expect a better tomorrow, a better future. He displayed the lesson in cleanliness by himself participating in the cleaning drive.
