AYUDH Mumbai Organized a Youth Camp

AYUDH Mumbai organized a Youth Camp attracting a large and enthusiastic turnout of participants from all over Navi Mumbai. The camp offered a diverse range of engaging activities and workshops, all designed to empower the participants with the skills and knowledge to make a positive impact on the world.  

Amma reminds, “Youngsters need to understand the real purpose of life. They need courage and wisdom to face the challenges of life. Only with that understanding they can become the light of the world.” With this mission, AYUDH works seamlessly to bring Young People Together and giving them the opportunity to Serve the World. 

The session on Youth & Spirituality by Swami Avyayamritananda Puri, MA Math, Mumbai in-charge was a powerful reminder that Youth has immense potential to make a big difference in the world, and spirituality can play a transformative role in their development. 

AV Mumbai in-charge Bri. Sharanyamrita Chaitanya's talk boosted the enthusiasm of the youngsters, reminding them of their true Dharma for the Nation. She inspired them towards building a better future for their society. She emphasized the essence of unity and compassion, to become a true leader. Her words resonated deeply with the youngsters, who left the lecture feeling motivated and energized.  

AYUDH National coordinators conducted an Investiture ceremony honouring AYUDHians for their incomparable contribution for AYUDH. The camp also gave the participants the opportunity to spend time together with their new team members & discuss the social issues faced by today’s generation. Then the Team leaders presented some potential social projects for Mumbai, showcasing their commitment to resolving the issues and making a positive change.  

Bri. Amritatmika Chaitanya from the National Coordination Team of AYUDH India, enthusiastically supported the new project ideas proposed by the teams. She said that these events and projects have the potential to make a significant impact on society and help AYUDH achieve its mission of igniting social change through youth leadership.  

A quiz on Sanatana Dharma by Bri. Niseema from the National Coordination Team challenged participants understanding of the wisdom and knowledge about their roots. The quiz covered topics such as the Vedas, Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Yoga, Significance behind Rituals, and Indian Festivals. This quiz not only enlightened the participants with the facts of Sanatana Dharma but also inspired them to learn more about their rich culture.  

Team leader Shristi Mishra from K. J. Somaiya College Of Arts And Commerce reflects on her experience, “The AYUDH Youth Camp was an amazing experience! As always, I enjoyed the day spent with the AYUDH team and we discussed the learning and growing opportunities that AYUDH can provide for new youth, the social issues faced by today’s generation and how we can contribute to resolving them. I would highly recommend this camp to any young person who is passionate about making a difference in the world.” 

The day continued with more enjoyable games, ensuring a perfect balance between learning and enjoyment.  

Anika Nair from Sophia College, Mumbai, AYUDH Team Lead calls it an incredible experience that helped her to learn and grow from within and learn about her role in making the world a better place. She said, the brainstorming session among the teams was extremely beneficial to get the ideas of youth for the planning and execution of future events. 

The camp concluded on a high note with vibrant cultural programs, celebrating the rich heritage and talents of the youth encapsulating the incredible journey of the youth camp, highlighting the profound learning experiences and cultural celebrations.
